Description
Good Wives is a novel by Louisa May Alcott, first published in 1869. It is the sequel to her novel Little Women and continues the story of the March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. The novel follows the sisters as they navigate the challenges of adulthood, including marriage, motherhood, and career choices. Meg marries John Brooke and becomes a mother, while Jo struggles to find her place in the world as a writer. Beth’s health deteriorates, and Amy travels to Europe to pursue her dream of becoming an artist.
